In this video, see how to remove the inner door panel of the BMW 1 Series F21 version. Start by removing the outer part of the handle, where at the bottom you will find a slot to insert a lever to take it off. Then, remove the frame of the inner door handle using the same method.

This exposes the screws to undo for removing the plastic parts, and there are two more at the bottom of the door panel. Once all seven screws are removed, use a plastic spatula to pry around the edges of the panel.

When it begins to come off, be careful to disconnect the electrical connectors behind. The operation is complete.
