Want to remove the door panel on a BMW 1? Let's see how to take off the protective cover. Detach the cover of the handle, unscrew the screws inside and those on top of the cover panel. Once the securing screws are removed, detach the locking clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and disconnect it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Replace the panel if damaged or work inside the door. After reassembling the cover panel, test the operation of the door opening lever and the electric buttons.
