In this guide, you will learn how to remove and replace the battery of a BMW 1 Series. First, note that in almost all BMWs, the battery is located at the rear of the vehicle, underneath the boot area. So, first, open the boot lid and remove the upper floor by lifting it from the handle. You will then see the battery: to replace it, use a socket wrench with an extension to remove the bolt of the bracket located at the bottom; then disconnect the terminals and replace the old battery with a new one!
