Replacement of Worn Rear Shock Absorbers

Model: BMW Z3 MK 1 - Years 1995-2002

For this operation, only an 18mm socket spanner is needed. Unscrew the three bolts that secure the shock absorber to the chassis. Position the vehicle on the ramp, remove the wheel, and unscrew the nut that holds one end of the shock absorber to the vehicle chassis, followed by the one on the arm. First, secure the entire suspension arm assembly so it does not fall during the operation. Extract the retaining pins from the arm's protection using an 18mm ratchet spanner, then remove the worn suspension. Attach the new shock absorber to the base and then to the chassis. Perform a road test to verify proper functioning.
