When to Change Power Steering Fluid

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Power steering fluid

Cars equipped with power steering have a reservoir that contains the fluid needed to lubricate the gears. If the car consumes too much fluid, it can lead to a very noisy steering system. If this fluid runs low, it could even cause the power steering motor to fail. Therefore, it is necessary to check and add more fluid if needed. If the fluid level is at the minimum, adding a whole quart will suffice; if it is halfway, you can add more and save the remainder. With the change of power steering fluid, the difference is noticeable as there will be less noise and a significantly smoother steering feel.

How to Remove the Indicator Light from the External Mirror of a Jeep Renegade

How to remove the indicator light from the external mirror of a Jeep Renegade? Follow these steps: use a plastic or rubber lever to pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Pry until the glass separates from the mirror; this is a delicate operation as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Once the mirror is removed, disconnect the power connector for the glass and press on the locking clips to detach the mirror cover. Remove the indicator from the mirror and replace the bulbs.
