How to Remove the Glove Compartment of the BMW X3 F25

Model: BMW X3 MK 2, F25 - Years 2010-2017

This guide shows how to remove the glove compartment of the vehicle. First, at the bottom of the dashboard, remove the two screws and detach the plastic panel under the door (it is held by clips). Then, remove the two screws at the base of the door (the ones facing upward) and disconnect the footwell light cable from the bracket. After opening the compartment, remove the screws located on the edge of the trim. Once this is done, close the compartment and pull it out of the housing. Now you can disconnect the internal light connector, and the operation can be considered complete. The tools needed for this procedure are: - Screwdriver or, alternatively, a power drill; - Torx bit.
