If the outer covering of the storage compartment drawer of the BMW X3 has come off, let's try to fix it with a DIY intervention. Remove the lower panel, unscrew the screw at the base of the drawer, disconnect the electrical connector and place the drawer on a work surface. Remove the cover by sliding the pins at its base, take a tube of two-component glue, put a small amount on a base and mix it, spread it on the edge of the cover, join the detached covering and hold it in place with clamps for the drying time of the glue. Once the successful outcome has been verified, reassemble the drawer.
