How to remove the I-Drive on the 2017 BMW G30.

Today we will explain how to independently remove the I-Drive from the 2017 BMW Series 5, model G30. To carry out the removal, we need to use a trim removal tool and an electric screwdriver. First, open the central dashboard drawer and remove the outer parts using the trim removal tool. Using the electric screwdriver, unscrew the four screws that secure the internal compartment. Lift the internal cover and remove the part after disconnecting the connector. Carefully lift the central part, making sure not to damage the wiring. Disconnect the connector to remove the entire lower part of the dashboard and disconnect the function.
