If you own a BMW X5 with stock car radio, this tutorial shows you how to extract the radio block and, after repairing it, the procedure for its reinstallation. First, pull out the volume knob by pulling it gently but firmly towards you. Get a small tool in the shape of a screwdriver but with the tip in the shape of a pentagon and insert it into the groove (in the shape of a pentagon) discovered after extracting the volume knob. Turn counterclockwise and at the same time pry into the side slot of the car radio with a plastic spatula. In this way you will be able to extract the radio block. Unhook the electrical connection by pressing its lock down. Having repaired or replaced the car radio, re-establish the electrical connection and put the block back in its original position.
