How to Reset the Service Indicator on a BMW 1 Series

Whenever you perform the scheduled maintenance involving an oil change and the corresponding filter, you need to update the service indicator on the dashboard. To do this, follow the instructions below, using the images from the video for assistance. Access the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. Locate the button on the bottom left of the dashboard, press and hold it until the 'reset' indication appears. Release the button and press it again, holding it down. This will activate the reset procedure, and when the display shows that the reset has been completed, you can release the button.
