How to Reset the Windows on a BMW

To reset the window memory on a BMW, get into the car and close the door. Next, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Open the window, and once it is fully open, press and hold the button in the open position for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, close the window and hold the button in the close position for another 5 seconds. The window memory has now been reset, and the window will function correctly. This procedure is sometimes necessary when the battery is replaced, as the car may experience minor issues with the window that can be resolved with this procedure.
