Windshield Removal Instructions

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Windshield

On all cars, the windshield is glued with a special adhesive that ensures both secure attachment and perfect sealing: to remove it, you need to cut along the edges of the adhesive layer. For this purpose, use a special steel wire capable of navigating along the perimeter of the windshield; pass one end of the wire through the lower corner using a special forked screwdriver, then attach the appropriate handle to the other end and slide the wire along the perimeter of the windshield (this operation requires two people, one inside and the other outside the cabin); once the perimeter is complete, remove the windshield, possibly with the help of suction handles.
