Repairing the Sunroof

The lifting and/or opening mechanism of the sunroof consists of a complex system of guides and plastic slides that can become damaged over time, causing the system to jam. There are specific repair kits available, but it is recommended to have the work done by a qualified technician since it is necessary to first remove the sunroof glass to access the mechanism. Any mistake during the assembly and adjustment phase could damage the guides again or compromise the seal of the sunroof itself. In any case, you need to disassemble the complex guide system to insert the new components and perfectly adjust the system during reassembly.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
