How do you replace the door lock of the BMW X3?

In order to replace the door lock of the BMW X3, it will be possible to open the door so that you have access to the screw that fixes the mechanism from the side. By loosening this screw, it will be possible to completely remove the door handle from its housing. In this way, the lock block can be pushed inward, so that it can be removed after the door panel has been detached. Once the old lock block has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new one, fixing it and installing all the previously disassembled parts.
