In this video, we can see how to behave if the hood of our car won't open. The car in the video is a BMW Series 3, but of course, these methods can be applied to all vehicles. It’s better to have an assistant help, because while we press down hard on the hood, we will need someone to pull the internal release lever. A second method is to locate the cable, which is usually near the lever, as we see in the video, and try to detach it from the connector, then gently pull it. A third method is to access through the radiator grille, insert a small mirror inside to help us find the mechanism, and then use a lever to open the hood. Last attempt: lift the front of the vehicle slightly and reach the lock from below with the help of a lever.
