How to access the secret menu of a BMW 1 Series.

Let's see how to access the secret menu of the BMW 1 Series (F21). This menu is reserved for workshops. The first thing to do is to press the Start & Stop button, just turning on the ignition without pressing any pedals. Then press the reset button for the mileage, holding it for about 10 seconds until a screen appears that talks about the possible reset of the brake pads; continue to hold it until the screen with the "identification" submenu appears, where various access opportunities are displayed; let's go to "Unlock". Hold it down for 4/5 seconds and an input code will appear. This code is formed by adding up the last 5 digits of the chassis number. Enter the resulting digit by pressing the button as many times as the sum. Hold it down for another 4/5 seconds. From here, you can access this submenu reserved for workshops, where you can access consumption, temperature (in detail). To go back, always hold it down for 4/5 seconds. At number 11, we have the battery system, at 13, error codes. Never go to number 19, software reset, because it would cause a real disaster. To return to normal, hold it down for 10 seconds until the mileage of the vehicle is displayed.
