In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the rear seats in a BMW 5 Series, a very simple and quick operation. First, go to the back of the vehicle, grab the seat cushion, and pull it upward to disengage it from the base.

Next, locate the 6 bolts underneath the backrest and remove them using both a Torx T50 and a T30 wrench. Now, move to the trunk, release the two locks indicated with a flathead screwdriver, and separate the backrest from the hinges.

To install a replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
