Disassembly of the Rear Bench and Floor to Install Speakers

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Rear bench seat

Lift and remove the rear headrests. Remove the hook covers and take out the side dome light. Unscrew the two retaining screws of the trim on the pillar and remove it. Perform the same operation on the other pillar. Using a wrench, remove the nuts from the hooks and take them out. Remove the seat cushion and unscrew the retaining screws of the seat back and take it out. Repeat the same operation with the other seat back. Use a mat on the ground to avoid injury from the protruding hooks. Unscrew the screws of the rear cover and remove the plastic clips. Take off the cover. Remove the retaining screws of the floor and pull it out by drawing it inward, being careful of the seat belts.
