Replacing Front Speaker

Model: BMW Serie 5 E61, E60 - Years 2003-2010

The front speaker is integrated into the door panel. To replace the speaker, you need to remove the panel. Start by removing the plastic cap labeled SRS-AIRBAG, which covers a mounting screw for the panel. Then, remove the other front screw and disengage the pressure clips around the panel's edge to pull it away enough to disconnect the connectors and the lock cable. Once the panel is removed, take off the reinforcement bracket located directly at the speaker's position and proceed with the removal and replacement before reassembling the panel.
