How to Remove the Steering Wheel Airbag from a BMW 5 Series?

To remove the steering wheel airbag from a BMW 5 Series, loosen the single screw that secures the airbag to the center of the steering wheel. This screw is located at the bottom of the wheel, just behind the central spoke. By unscrewing this screw, the airbag will be freed from its housing and can be completely removed by disconnecting the connector at the back. Once the old airbag is removed, connect the new one to the connector and secure it in its housing by installing the previously removed screw.
