How to disassemble the steering angle sensor of the BMW 5 Series

Model: BMW Serie 5 E61, E60 - Years 2003-2010

Let's briefly see the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the steering angle sensor of the BMW 5 Series. First of all, we get on board the car and start disassembling and removing the driver's airbag; to do this, we release it from the back of the steering wheel, disconnecting the electrical connector, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the central screw of the steering wheel to remove it as well; now we proceed with the disassembly of the steering angle sensor, disconnecting the various electrical connectors. We correctly install the new sensor and reassemble everything!
