To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light on a BMW 5 Series, first check that the pressure of all tires is correct. Next, turn on the ignition or start the engine, and using the iDrive controller or the dedicated button, access the Vehicle Information menu and select the section related to tire pressure monitoring.

Choose the initialization or reset function and confirm the operation. Then, drive at a constant speed for a few minutes: during this trip, the system will store the new reference values.

Once the learning process is complete, the TPMS light will automatically turn off, indicating that the procedure has been successfully completed.
