The service reset for the BMW 5 Series, model E60, is performed after the maintenance operations; after that, we can proceed with the reset. The first step to perform the reset is to press the button for resetting the partial kilometers in order to access the menu. The second step is to scroll within the menu until reaching the maintenance indicator, then hold down the button until the reset message appears.
