How to Replace Your Car's Air Conditioner

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Air conditioner

One of the most appreciated accessories in a car is the air conditioner, especially during the summer months when the heat is relentless. Given its frequent use, it's easy for it to break down or present problems, some of which can be easily resolved independently without the help of a specialized technician. The first thing to check is that the refrigerant, the fluid that carries heat from inside to outside the car, is present in its reservoir. If the issue relates to the wiring, locate the compressor wire and connect it to the positive terminal of the battery. If you hear a noise, the compressor and its switches are functioning well; otherwise, the entire system needs to be checked, and the compressor should be replaced.

Replace the damaged bulb with a new one (same size and voltage). Reinstall the plastic cover in its housing (press it in with your hands until the tabs are fully secured). Test the light's proper functioning before reinstalling the piece.
