How to replace the battery of the BMW 5 Series Hybrid.

Today we will replace the battery of the BMW 5 Series model G30 Hybrid. The battery in these vehicles is located inside the trunk; to perform the replacement, we need to open the rear hood and remove the plastic cover by unscrewing the locking screws. We remove the carpet to access the battery compartment. We connect the negative terminal connector and the positive terminal connector, unscrew the locking screw of the battery bracket to take it out of its seat. We insert the new battery and connect the positive terminal connector and the negative terminal connector, secure the bracket nut, and reassemble the compartment cover. We reinstall the carpet and the plastic cover of the trunk. We start the vehicle to ensure that the battery is functioning properly.
