Using a small pry bar, disengage the clips that secure the weatherstrip in the glass passage slot and remove it. Remove the glass from its housing by sliding it out through the exit slot and disengaging it from its housing in the motor. At this point, remove the complete window regulator motor with the tracks for the glass movement.

To do this, it is necessary to disengage the various bolts that we have already unscrewed, which secure the motor kit in place. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a BMW 3 Series.
