In this video, you can see how to reset the service light on a BMW 3 Series F30: Turn on the ignition, then press and hold the button located under the tachometer; the first service item will be displayed. Press the button to cycle through the other items until "Resettable" appears.

Hold the button for three seconds, then "execute reset" will appear on the display. Hold the button for another three seconds.

At this point, "Reset in progress" will appear on the screen, and the service light will have been successfully reset.
