How to Replace the Air Filter on a BMW 3 Series

To access the air filter, release the hood using the designated latch and lift it up. This will allow you to locate the filter as shown in the video. Disconnect the connector and remove the tie that secures the intake hose. Next, remove the bolts and screws that hold the air duct in place. Take it out, and now you can also unscrew the screws that seal it. This will allow you to open it and extract the cylindrical air filter. Install the new filter in the correct orientation and retrace the steps described for reassembly.
