Replacing the air filter in the engine compartment of your 2012 BMW 3 Series is very simple. All you need to do to complete this operation is read the following procedure and apply the steps described.

First, lift the hood and locate the box containing the air filter on the right side of the engine compartment. At this point, remove the protective cover after unscrewing all the screws with an appropriate screwdriver.

Finally, replace the old filter with the new one, and you're done.
