How do you replace the air filter on a BMW 3 Series? Let's see how to remove the cabin air filter from under the glove compartment. Locate the screws under the glove box cover, and remove them from beneath the plastic. Take off the plastic cover under the dashboard, and unscrew the screws securing the cabin air filter cover. After removing the air filter housing cover, pull the air filter out of its slot as shown in the video. Install the new cabin air filter, then reattach the housing cover and the protection under the dashboard.
