Start unscrewing the fastening pins of the EGR valve. Once the piece is removed from its housing, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws present on it. Begin cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, using a brush to assist in the process. Reassemble everything after cleaning. If the valve is damaged, you will need to replace it with a new one.
