Let's briefly go over the steps needed to remove and replace the rear brake shoes on a Chevrolet City Express. First, lift the vehicle at the rear and start by removing the wheel; then, remove the brake drum by unscrewing the screws to extract it, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the spring and the retainers of the shoes, taking them off the backing plate; clean the brake system of dirt and check the wear condition of the drum, then install the new brake shoes (of excellent quality)!
