How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on the Chevrolet Bolt EUV

If you cannot open or start your vehicle with the key fob, the battery is likely dead and needs replacement. Here’s how to do it. First, extract the emergency key from the fob by pressing the small button on the side. Use the emergency key to pry open the two halves of the fob, giving you access to the battery compartment. Use your fingernail to remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Finally, snap the fob back together and secure it by pressing it firmly with your fingers.
