How to Reset the Service Light on the Holden Captiva

Whenever you perform an oil change and replace the filter on the vehicle, you must then clear the service indication that has illuminated on the instrument panel. To do this, follow the instructions provided here and take a look at the tutorial video as well. First, sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. The reset procedure requires you to press the accelerator pedal fully down three times in quick succession. After that, you will need to turn off the ignition. Finally, turn the ignition back on to check that the light has turned off.
