This article explains how to reset the service light on the Chevrolet Captiva. The procedure is simple and requires no tools or software.

It is recommended to perform this procedure only after the vehicle has had its service completed. To reset the light, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, then within 5 seconds, press the accelerator pedal fully down three times.

Note that you may need to repeat the procedure three times to successfully reset the light. After completing the procedure, if successful, the light will turn off automatically.
