How to open the hood of a Citroen C5?

To open the hood of a Citroën C5, start by sitting in the driver's seat and locate the hood release lever, usually located on the lower left side of the dashboard, near the door. Pulling this lever, you will hear a click indicating that the hood has been unlocked. At this point, exit the vehicle and go to the front, where you can lift the hood slightly. Under the partially lifted hood, in the center or on one side, you will find a safety lever. Push or lift it, depending on its position and orientation, to fully release the hood. Now you can lift it completely and keep it open using the support rod, which is generally fixed along the inner edge of the hood. When you are finished, to close the hood simply lower it gently and push it until you hear the click confirming that it is closed.
