How do you open the front bonnet of your car to top up fluids? Watch this video to learn how to maintain a Citroen C5. In most cars, the front bonnet opens by pulling the lever located inside the vehicle, as in our case. Open the driver's door, pull the plastic lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard. Once the lever is pulled, move the lever under the bonnet (with your fingers) and lift the bonnet of the car as shown in the video. To close the bonnet, simply lower it from a relatively low height to avoid damaging the car.
