Results of the EuroNCap test of the Citroen C2

In the EuroNCap test, the Citroen C2 obtained a score of 4 stars (out of a maximum of 5), achieving adequate protection for adults and children on board, poor protection for pedestrians, and not evaluated for assistance systems (the evaluation dates back to 2003, when this test was not yet submitted). Regarding adult protection, in the frontal crash test, the body structure held up well, but the occupants' legs were at risk of contacting the steering column; in the side crash test, the thoracic airbag worked, but the door deformation increased the risks for the chest. For children, the protection of the head and chest in the side impact was judged insufficient.
