How to Remove the Engine Air Filter on a Citroen C3

How do you remove and replace the engine air filter fitted on a Citroen C3? Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then remove the ventilation hose. Open the air kit (undo the securing screws), lift off the filter box cover, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, refit the air box cover and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet at the end of the maintenance.
