Removing the engine air filter on a Citroen C3? Here’s how to do it. Lift the bonnet of the engine compartment, unscrew the screws around the filter housing using a screwdriver, then pry off the cover (where the air filter is located). Remove the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the housing, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the box. Refit the filter box cover (secure the cover around the mounting plastics). Check that the air filter is correctly fitted in the Citroen C3. Finally, close the front bonnet.
