The reset of the service light on a Citroen C5, typically yellow and shaped like a spanner, can be done DIY without any diagnostic tools, as it only requires some buttons on the vehicle. To proceed: at the base of the odometer, there are three buttons, you need to hold down the first one on the right, turn on the instrument panel, and wait a few seconds for the fault to be cleared.

Once done, simply turn off the aforementioned instrument panel.
