Let's see how to remove the inner door panel of the front door of a Citroen C4 MK1: start by removing the securing screws. One is located under the removable cover of the armrest, one in the window lifter housing, and one near the door, behind a plastic cap. Now remove the snap clips. Use a plastic lever to pop the clips along the perimeter (starting from the bottom). Detach the panel by pulling slightly outward and lifting upwards to disengage the upper hooks. Disconnect the electrical connectors (mirror, window lifter, central locking, speaker). Disconnect the electric window lifter cable before removing the panel, which will then be completely free.
