Before starting, open the tailgate of your Citroen C4. Begin by unscrewing and removing the internal bolts that secure the third brake light. Then, unclip and extract the third brake light from its housing.

This will free the third brake light itself. Proceed to disconnect the corresponding electrical connector.

Once this step is complete, you can remove the third brake light from your Citroen C4, completing the disassembly. To fit the new third brake light, simply follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
