How to Replace the Headlight Bulbs on a Citroën C3 Picasso

Replacing the bulbs on a Citroën C3 Picasso is very simple due to the elevated position of the headlights and the ample access points. When you open the bonnet, you will immediately notice two large round plastic caps at the back of the headlights, corresponding to the bulbs. These can be removed by simply pulling them outward. Once the cap for the relevant bulb is removed, you will have access to the bulb holder where the bulb is secured with a standard metal clip. To facilitate access, first disconnect the power connector attached to the bulb, then you can release the clip. After releasing the clip, the bulb should come out easily and can be replaced with a new one; the orientation for insertion is usually indicated by two metal protrusions that guide its position in the bulb holder, making it difficult to get wrong. Once the new bulb is inserted, proceed to reattach the clip and reconnect the power connector, ensuring to close the protective round cap.
