How to Remove the Front Bumper from the Citroen C5

Model: Citroen C5 MK 2, RD, X7 - Years 2008-2017

To remove the front bumper from the Citroen C5, start by unscrewing the Torx screws located in the wheel arch, both front and rear, which secure the bumper to the wings. Also, remove the screws underneath the bumper, beneath the under-bonnet protection. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the headlights and sensors (parking, daytime running lights). To access the connectors, you may need to remove the wheel arch lining or raise the vehicle. Next, locate the 10 mm bolts that secure the bumper to the upper crossmember (near the headlights) and the lower part. Loosen them with a socket wrench or impact driver. Once unscrewed, lift the bumper upwards to disengage the plastic clips holding it in place. Gently pull it towards you to free it completely. The procedure is the same on both sides. Refit in reverse order, ensuring the clips snap into place.
