To reset the service light on a Citroen C4, ensure the vehicle is off: locate the button with the spanner icon, usually found on the centre console or near the instrument cluster. While holding the button, turn on the ignition without starting the engine.

Continue to hold the button for at least 10 seconds. On the instrument cluster display, a countdown will start: when it finishes, release the button, and the light should now be reset.

To verify, turn off the ignition and turn it back on to check that the light does not reappear.
