When and how to replace the auxiliary belt on a Citroen car?

To know when to replace the auxiliary belt, always check the owner's manual, which specifies the interval. Typically, this maintenance is performed at 75,000 miles or after six years of vehicle use. After disconnecting the battery, lift the car and remove the front right wheel. Remove the wheel arch liner by unscrewing all the bolts, as shown in the video. Once done, you will have access to the auxiliary belt: slightly loosen the 12 mm bolt of the tensioner and the upper screw of the 14 mm support. Using 10 mm and 12 mm spanners, hold the counter nut and loosen the tensioner nut, remove the belt and replace it. Reverse the steps for reassembly.
