Over time, exhausts can develop deposits that may lead to rust, holes, and breaks.
Here’s how to solve the problem quickly and at minimal cost. You will need a special product called 'liquid steel', which usually comes in two components that must be mixed before use, a sheet of metal of the appropriate size to cover an area larger than the damaged part, and a metal clamp.
Clean the area around the break with a wire brush.
Once the product is prepared, wrap the metal sheet around the exhaust pipe and bend it around to have it ready at the right moment. Apply the product around the break, then position the metal sheet so that it completely covers the broken part and use the metal clamp to tighten it and ensure it adheres to the liquid steel. Cover any remaining gaps with the product and allow it to dry.
