Citroen C3 - Video tutorial

Model: Citroen C3 SC - Years 2009-2016
Part: Window motor
Operation: How to replace the window motor in the Citroen C3

To replace the window lifter motor of the Citroen C3 the first thing to do will be to remove the plastic present in the handle; now unscrew the screws that are inside the handle. Once the handle has been removed, we must unscrew the screws that hold the panel in place. Once all the screws have been removed, detach the panel by pressing lightly to remove the interlocking pins. Once the panel has been removed, we need to disconnect the wiper switch cable and remove the panel. At this point we must remove the protective film that is located between the body and the panel. Once this protection is removed we see that there is the window lifter motor. Loosen the screws without removing them in order to remove the motor from its seat, then remove the two supports of the door descender and the switch attachment. Push the glass up with your hands and secure it with a catch to prevent it from falling. At this point the motor is removed.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
