As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the gear knob in the Citroen C4 is an extremely simple and fast operation. To do this, we will need pliers, a medium-sized clamp and, of course, the replacement. First of all we remove the upper plate in which the gears are imprinted, then we disengage the base of the headset and lift it completely. At this point, cut the rubber of the knob vertically and, with the help of a flat-tipped screwdriver, disengage it from the shaft. Finally, place the spare part and fix it to the cap with the new clamp.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
